E20 MT MG ERROR

If the IMC41 reports the error "MT MG ERROR" when counting money, please check and handle it according to the following steps:

1、Adjust the bill stopper limit plate to center the position of the bill as much as possible (positioning the bill too close to the edges might cause errors).

Please install the banknote guider and adjust it to a suitable distance so that the banknotes can be placed flat on the Hopper.

2、The bill acceptor might be too tight. Being overly tight can cause various issues such as bill skewing and jamming, leading to false alarms from mechanisms like the magnetic sensor (MG).

Please adjust the feeding screw clockwise according to the video, and increase the distance of the banknote inlet so that the IMC41 can only enter one banknote at a time.

a. Use a dollar bill to check the tension of the bill acceptor. If it's difficult to insert a bill due to excessive friction, then the entry slot is too tight.

b. Open the screw protection cover, use a key or a coin to turn the screw clockwise for half a scale.

c. Repeat the ab operations until one dollar bill can feel the friction force to be inserted, but two bills cannot be inserted

d. After adjusting the distance from the banknote inlet, try counting banknotes.

3、If you have already adjusted the bill stopper limit plate and adjusted the feeding screw but are still encountering an "MT MG ERROR," please collect the misreport data. We will optimize our database based on the data you provide and release updated software for an upgrade.

Please follow the steps below to receive the banknote data and send it to us:

1) First turn off the power of the machine, prepare an empty USB flash drive, and insert it into the USB port on the back of the machine.
2) Turn on the power of the machine and start counting money.
3) Do not move after the operation is completed. Wait 1 minute and then remove the USB flash drive.
4) Send us the data collected on the USB flash drive.
We will customize the upgrade file based on this collected data.
