This guidance applies to the following models: ITPP047, ITPP098, and ITPP905.
If CUPS fails to recognize the printer by its correct name, or if you need to customize the printer’s name, please follow the steps below to disable the Epson mode.
Operation Steps:
- Download and install the printer setup tool (PrinterTestV5.2C_230601) on a Windows computer.
- Power on the printer and connect it to the Windows computer using a USB cable.
- Launch the printer setup tool and disable the Epson mode as shown in the image below.
