Q1: How to check if got scan failure?
A1: You can open the Scanner app and there is a special "Content box" within the app
If a scan is tested successfully in the Scanner app but cannot be output in other apps, this is usually a compatibility issue
Workaround: Switch to keyboard output in the Scanner app

Q2: Why is the PDA unable to scan the code or no light is scanned?
A2:There are two reasons for this problem
1) The scanning process is stuck
Please restore the scan head, after restoration the scanning app will restart to solve the stuck problem
- Go to Scan App
- Touch Settings > Reset scan
- Waiting for Reset
- Press the scan again when finished to test

2)Scanning head damaged
Please contact the technical team for support.
Q3: When use scanner, there is no data but scan-light on.
A3:There are two reasons for this problem
1)The barcode is not open
Please scanning with Internal Camera
- Open the Barcode Scanner app
- Barcode scanning with the camera > Show barcode type
- Go to the Scan app
- Touch Barcode
- Select the corresponding barcode type
- Click on Enable > Touch Open > Confirm
Tips:Once configured, the test can be scanned in the Content dialog.

2)Change scan output method to keyboard output
1.Go to Scan App
2.Touch Settings > Output Mode > Keyboard Mode

Q4: Why is the scan not sensitive or failures using the PDA?
A4:There are two reasons for this problem
1)This is dependent on the range and angle of the code.
Please scan at 20-60cm ;scan within range for quick and constant decodes; scanning too close or too far away prevents decodes.
Move the scanner closer and further away to find the right working range for the barcodes being scanned.
Hold the device farther away for larger symbols.
Move the device closer for symbols with bars that are close together.

2)This is related to the brightness of the ambient light you are scanning
Scanning speed can be affected in very dark rooms or outdoors where there is too much sunlight
If you are in a dark environment, please turn on the scanning head with its own light source to centre the barcode for scanning
If you are in a too bright environment, please use your hand or body to partially block the sunlight and centre the barcode for scanning
Q5: Why does the QR code recognition appear garbled?
A5:Please switch the Decode mode in the scan app and select AUTO
- Go to Scan app
- Touch Setting > Decpde mode>Select AUTO
- Please rescan the barcode when finished

Q6: How to activate scan with scan buttons ?
A6: Press any blue scan key by default to get a light scan out
If you press it and no light is emitted, skip to Q3
