If you find that the following situations are encountered during the driver installation process:
1. After waiting for 20 seconds, no IP address is detected in the Port Check.
2. There is an IP address that appears in the Port Check, but when you click the Check Port button, the printer you want to set up does not respond.
We recommend that you follow the steps below to check and complete the installation of your machine:
1. Check whether the green light of the network port on the printer is flashing.
If the green light is flashing, indicating that the printer is normally connected to the network of your router.
If the green light does not flash, reconnect the network line and check whether the router network is normally turned on.
2. Check whether the power indicator of the printer lights up blue, if not, it means that the printer switch is not turned on.
3. Check if the first three digits of the printer's IP address on the self-test page are the same as your Windows device's IPv4 IP address.
If they are not the same as the two pictures above, you can modify the printer's IP address by following the steps below so that the first three digits of the printer's IP band are the same as Windows devices, for example, set the printer's IP address to 172.18.6.222
steps:
a) Connect the printer and Windows device with a USB cable, keep the printer turned on and load thermal paper.
b) Download and open the printer test tool: http://u.pc.cd/gCmotalK
c) Click Refresh ---Modify the IP address to 172.18.6.222---Set New IP---You can hear the machine beep---Selftest
d) Check whether the IP address on the new self-check page is set successfully. After setting, you can start the driver installation again.
