IMC22 How to collect banknote data

If you encounter any of the following three scenarios, please follow the steps below to collect data from the banknotes. We will then use this collected data to generate a customized upgrade file for your money counter:
1. The currency you need is not included in the MUNBYN currency database after contacting our support engineer.
2. New counterfeit banknotes cannot be recognized by the money counter.
3. The Image error still happens after the CIS calibration is done successfully.

Below are the steps for collecting the banknote data:

1. Prepare a flash drive and insert it into the USB port at the back of the money counter. And there should be a flash drive icon that appears on the screen after you insert the flash drive.

    

2. Switch to "CNT" mode. (In CNT mode, the counter will collect the data from all the bills you count)

    

3. Count the banknotes whose data needs to be collected. Take the banknotes(Same denomination and suggest about 20 pcs) and feed them into the detector by alternating between different sides and different edges of each banknote. For each banknote denomination, please follow the same operation shown in the video below link—each denomination needs to be fed into the detector a total of four times.
   Note: suggest preparing 10~20 pcs for each denomination and feed them together.

For each different banknote, data must be collected for orientations A, B, C, and D (please ignore F). Refer to the diagram below:

4. After you have collected data for every banknote denomination, remove the USB flash drive from the detector.
 

5. Finally, package all the data files stored in the USB flash drive (you can compress them into a ZIP file for convenience) and send the packaged file back to us.
