ITPP905 How to Install a MacBook Wi-Fi Printer?

Note: To use the ITPP905 in a Macbook  environment, you need to install this printer driver in advance.

• Get the Macbook driver from the link:  munbyn.biz/905MACD
• If your system is updated, please uninstall the driver before installing it.

1、Before Installing the Wi-Fi Printer

The computer is connected to the wireless router. Please see the below picture.

Web Page Setting

(1) Connect the device to printer Wi-Fi.

Note:

Wi-Fi name: WIFI Printer 

Password: 012345678

(2) Open a browser, input [10.10.100.254]

(3) The "Sign in" interface will pop up automatically. Enter your [Username] and [Password], click [Sign in]. Your browser will automatically jump to Wi-Fi Setting Page.

Note:

Username: admin

Password: admin

(4) Click [STA Setting], then click [Scan]

(5) Enter the wireless network configuration interface, select your wireless network, and click [OK].

(6) The prompt interface pops up "The password is empty!". Click [OK]

(7) Input the password of your chosen wireless network, “obtain an IP address automatically” choose [Enable], and then click [Save]

(8) The interface "Saved Successfully!" pops up automatically. Click [Restart].

(9) The interface "Rebooting Successful!" pops up. Wait about 10 seconds. The printer will automatically print a Wi-Fi page which means the wireless network configuration of the printer is successful.

2、Install the printer driver

1) In the Mac menu bar, open the [System Preferences] and click the [Printers & Scanners].

2) The Printers & Scanners interface appears, then click [+].

3) Select IP and input the printer IP address (the printer must be in the same network segment as the mac OS computer).

Input the keyword 80 in the search box, and select the [POS-80], finally click [OK].

4) Click [Add] after selecting the printer software

5) When finished, printer option with IP address will appear in the printer list.
