Please refer to the following tutorial to adjust the gap of the hopper. If the cash inlet is too tight or too loose, it may cause a cash counting error or bill jamming.
The principle is:
The cash inlet can only pass one banknote at a time, but not two banknotes at the same time.
1)Switch off the device and then adjust the paper feed adjustment screw on the back of the counter.
Rotate counterclockwise to loosen the cash inlet;
Rotate clockwise to tighten the cash inlet.
2)While adjusting the paper feed adjustment screw, please prepare a banknote and insert it parallel to the banknote feed port of the counter to feel the friction of the banknote and see if one banknote can pass through smoothly, but not two banknotes at the same time:
a. If you feel that the friction is too great and a banknote cannot pass through smoothly, it means that the banknote feed port is too tight. Please continue to rotate the paper feed adjustment screw counterclockwise (to loosen the banknote feed port) and then use a banknote to feel it.
b. If you feel little or no friction, it means that the paper feed port is too loose and two banknotes can pass through it at the same time. Please continue to rotate the paper feed adjustment screw clockwise (tighten the paper feed port) and then use banknotes to feel it.
