If the machine displays an "E3/E8/CHAIN ERROR" message, it means that you need to adjust the paper feed gap to ensure that only one bill can pass through at a time.
First, use a screwdriver to loosen the screw at the location marked in the image below (no need to remove the screw, just rotate it twice for easier adjustment of the cash inlet later).
If the feeding gap is too loose (allowing two bills to pass through), please adjust the screw clockwise to reduce the gap.
After adjusting the cash inlet, re-tighten the screws at the positions marked in the diagram below.
