Principle for Adjusting the Feed Screw: To adjust the feed screw, insert a banknote into the feed port until only one banknote can be inserted but not two.
The default optimal position for the paper feed screw adjustment is shown below:
However, banknotes of different currencies may have slight differences in thickness. If a bill jam or an "E12 chain error" occurs or others, it indicates that you need to adjust the bill inlet.
1、Narrow the bill inlet:Due to the bill inlet being too tight, a single banknote cannot be smoothly inserted at a time, causing jams or errors.
1)Please prepare a coin or a key.
2)Use the coin or key as an auxiliary tool to turn the feed screw counterclockwise by one notch.
3)Take a banknote and insert it horizontally into the bill inlet to see if it can be smoothly inserted.
4)If you feel excessive friction when inserting a single banknote, making it difficult to insert, turn the feed screw counterclockwise by one more notch. Then insert the banknote again to assess the friction and gap, continuing this process until only one banknote can pass through at a time, but not two.
2、Widen the bill inlet:Due to the bill inlet being too loose, more than one banknote may pass through at a time.
1) Please prepare a coin or a key.
2)Use the coin or key as an auxiliary tool to turn the feed screw clockwise by one notch.
3)Take a banknote and insert it horizontally into the bill inlet until one banknote can pass through but two banknotes cannot.
