RW401AP firmware upgrade tutorial (Mobile Phone)

The latest firmware of the device is 1.2.0

If you see that your firmware is 1.1.9 on the self-test page, please follow the steps in this article.
If the firmware version number on the self-test page is 1.2.0, it means that you do not need to upgrade the firmware.

(How to print a self-test page: Press and hold the green button on the top of the machine and release it after hearing two consecutive "Di" sounds)

Step 1: Using MUNBYN Print APP to configure network for printer on mobile phone.

Note: Please make sure you have completed the network configuration function through Munbyn APP.

Step 2: Print a self-test page: Press and hold the FEED button until you hear two beeps, then release the button.

Note:The "Web Page URL" of each RW401AP device may be different, please refer to the printed self-test page.

Step 3: In the address bar of the mobile browser, enter part of the content in the "Web Page URL" of the self-test page, such as the content in the red box in the picture above.

Note: If you are using an Android system and logged in with a Google account, please log out of the Google account in your browser before entering the URL.

Step 4: Enter this URL (When you visit for the first time, the system may display the following prompt. Please click "Show Details" and then click to “visit this website”, as shown in the red box in the picture)

Step 5:Enter your password that you created and click “Login”button.

The initial password we set is 12345678.

Step 6:Click “AirPrint Configuration Page”.

Step 7: Click “Firmware Update”.

Step 8: Click “Update”button, printer will get latest firmware from internet and update automatically.

If your firmware version is newest, you will see page below:

The update time will take about 5-10 minutes. When the update is completed, you will hear a "Di" sound from the device, indicating that the device firmware update is completed.

After the firmware is updated, you need to restart the printer and mobile phone, otherwise the printing jobs may not be printed.

Attention:

1. Please DO NOT disconnect from the network .

2. Please DO NOT unplug the power while upgrading.

3. Please DO NOT power off printer until the upgrade is successful.
