A: Sometimes, when customers are scanning UPC or EAN barcodes, the final digit will not appear after scanning, in this case, please turn on "check digit" switch.
1. Please open InfoWedge, open Profile0 and click "Decoders".
2. Click "UPC/EAN" settings, and you will see a serial settings about check digit.
For instance, there is a UPC-A barcode, customer find the final digit "6" will not appear after scanning, in this case, he need to turn on "Transmit UPC-A Check Digit".

B: Sometimes, when customers are scanning UPC or EAN barcodes, the first digit will not appear after scanning, in this case, please check if you have chosen "Transmit System Character".
Still use the the same barcode sample( UPC-A). If customer select " Transmit no preamble", he will lost the first digit "7" after scanning.

Generally, our InfoWedge will set these settings properly, so customer can use PDA directly, if you find you have lost the first or the final digit of UPC/EAN barcodes, please restore InfoWedge first.
