IPDA086/IPDA101: How to copy InfoWedge/Keyboardemulator settings from one PDA to multiple PDAs？

For PDA that still using  Keyboardemulator:
 

1. Please open keyboardemulator->2DSettings. 

2. Scroll down and find Other parameters->add parameters. 

3. You need to click "add" and exit. (You can refer to the SWDecodeAndroid_IG_08 documentation to add new parameters as needed.)

4. Locate the sdcard/Scanner/data/ZebraParameters.xml file in this path and use this file to edit the decoder settings. 

5. After applying the settings via the XML file, restart the keyboardemulator or reboot the device for the settings to take effect. 

6. Through your MDM software, you can push this XML file to different devices to complete the batch setup of devices.

For PDA that using InfoWedge:

Please note that we have deleted Keyboardemulator in our OS since 2025, and make InfoWedge a built-in scanning app in the new OS. 

1. Find one IPDA086, and open the InfoWedge, click the three dots on the top.
 

2. Click "settings", then choose and click  "Share", you will see current InfoWedge settings , which stored in changing barcodes.

3. Use another new IPDA086, choose "Import", then scan the setting barcodes, all settings will copy to this new PDA.

   



There is another way to copy the settings from one PDA to another. You can copy the InfoWedge setting file of the targeted PDA, then put it the settings file to another PDA.

1. Connect your PDA to PC, then find InfoWedge setting file.

2. Copy the setting file, then paste to another PDA.
