A: Sometimes, when customers are scanning UPC or EAN barcodes, the final digit will not appear after scanning, in this case, please turn on "checksum" switch.
1. Please open M-SCAN, open Profile0 and click "Decoders".
2. Please make sure that you have enabled the barcodes you need to scan, and I will take UPC-A as an example.
For instance, there is a UPC-A barcode, customer find the final digit "6" will not appear after scanning, in this case, he need to turn on "Checksum".

B: Sometimes, when customers are scanning UPC or EAN barcodes, the first digit will not appear after scanning, in this case, please check if you have chosen "System Character Only".
Still use the the same barcode sample( UPC-A). If customer select " None", he will lost the first digit "7" after scanning.

Generally, our M-Scan will set these settings properly, so customer can use PDA directly, if you find you have lost the first or the final digit of UPC/EAN barcodes, please restore M-Scan first.
