If you experience a jam, try the following first:
1. Check to see if there is any visible dirt, dust, or any other foreign matter inside the machine (look especially for remnants of bills they may have torn). Remove any foreign matter with tweezers or your fingers.
CAUTION: ALWAYS ENSURE THE MACHINE IS OFF BEFORE PUTTING HANDS/FINGERS NEAR THE PROCESSING WHEEL OR SLOT.
2. Clean the machine according to the directions in FAQ 2.2, including all sensors.
3. If necessary, adjust the feeding gap according to the directions in FAQ 2.6
4. Please check if the banknotes are dry. If the banknotes are damp, the two banknotes are likely to stick together, causing the machine to jam. Please also make sure your hands are dry before checking the banknotes, this will ensure that the banknotes do not stick to too much liquid and cause the banknotes to jam.
If the banknotes are found to be damp, you can dry the banknotes with a hair dryer before passing the banknotes.
