Currency Upgrade

If you need to add a currency other than the default currencies in IMC09, please contact us first and let us know which currency you need to add. We will then provide you with a customized upgrade file.

If our database does not include the currency you need, please follow the steps below to collect data from the banknotes and send it to us. We will customize an upgrade file based on the collected data.

1. Contact us to obtain the necessary files and perform an initial upgrade of the machine.

Please download the firmware to your USB flash drive, and then upgrade according to the following steps.
1) Put the upgrade firmware into a USB flash drive with no other files.
2) Insert the USB flash drive into the USB interface；
Make sure the power is off before inserting the USB flash drive.
3) Turn on the IMC09, and the machine will automatically recognize the upgrade file.
Upon successful recognition, the machine will read the file first.
4) After finishing the programming, unplug the USB flash drive and turn off the machine.
5) Turn on the machine to enter the main interface. The software upgrade has been finished.
Please ensure that there are no files on the USB stick.

2. After a successful upgrade, prepare a USB drive and insert it into the USB port at the back of the IMC09.

1) Select the currency you need to collect.
2) Choose the "CNT" mode.
3) Long press the "CUR" button to enter the collection interface.
4) Select the denomination, version, and orientation, then start collecting data.

For each different banknote, data must be collected for orientations A, B, C, and D (please ignore F). Refer to the diagram below:

Collect data for each different banknote at least three times.
