IPDA083/IPDA088: Why there is no laser come out when press scanning buttons?

There is a scanning app named InfoWedge in IPDA086/IPDA101, InfoWedge is our latest, new and general scanning app for IPDA086/IPD101.

Munbyn has made the InfoWedge default turn on, besides, customers no need to set anything anything when get the device out of box. 
So, if there is no laser come out when press scanning buttons, please troubleshoot as below:

1.  Retore InfoWedge in Settings>Restore .
   

2. Factory reset device. You can factory reset the device in settings>system>reset option>factory reset. Please note that factory reset will wipe all files and data, so please backup important files.

If there is still no laser come out when press scanning buttons, no matter side buttons, or pistol buttons, please contact Munbyn Support Team.

Please note that we have move to InfoWedge since 2025, if your device still using our old scanning app Keyboardemulator, please check as below:

A: Press any yellow scan key by default to get a light scan out.

If it still fails to scan, there is a problem with the key value.

Please set the key value in the Keyboardemulator app.

1. Go to Keyboardemulator App.

2. Turn the scan button off.

Tips: If it is already closed, please skip this item.

3. Click on the KeyCode dialog area > press the yellow Scan key (if you press the key on the handle again when you insert the handle)

Note: Key-value is 291 for the body Left scan button, and 293 for the body Right scan button, and key-value is 294 for the Keyboardemulator gun grips scan button.

4. Check Barcode2D when finished and re-open Enable Keyboardemulator.
