Q: Why this product cannot scan distant barcodes

A: The IPDA088 is equipped with the SE4750MR scan head, this device can scan up to four meters, but please note that the scanning range will depend on the size of the barcode and the working environment.

Scanning distance and the size of the required label of barcode grow proportionally, for example, a distance of one meter requires a label of at least 15mils (70mm*30mm) while if the scanning distance is increased to 4 meters, a label of 60mils (280mm*120mm) is required.
