    Hello, I am having difficulties using the Tera P172 scanner. The device is registered in Microsoft intunes (MDM Kioskmode)  and I have tried to install the apps Keyboardemulator and Appcenter as described in this guide. Unfortunately, I always get an error "The application was not found in the managed Play Store. (0xC7D24FBB)" Can you help me?

    Hi Lukas, 

    I ran into a similar issue with a different model of scanner. What I ended up doing was to downloading the keyboard APK to the scanner via connecting to my desktop and then running the install on the scanner. 

    To install an APK on Android, follow these steps:

    1. Open your Android device’s file explorer app (or download and install the Files by Google app).
    2. Locate your APK file and select it.
    3. The APK installer menu will appear—tap Install.
    4. Allow time for the app to install.
    5. Tap Done or Open once the installation is complete1.

    Alternatively, you can transfer the downloaded APK file to the root of your phone’s internal storage and then install it2.

    Hi Williams - unfortunately it is not intended to install an APK on the devices. The devices will work in kiosk mode and there will be no authorization for this. Is there no way via Microsoft Intune? Thanks for your help!

    Hi Lukas, 

    I ran into the same issue and had to download the APK and transfer it to the device. Once on the device, find it and select install.

    @Michael - I tried it and got it to work partially... but I don't want to have to do that with all devices... with our Zebra scanners everything works great with intune :(

    I fully understand! 

    When you received the unit, did you do a factory reset which made the keyboard go away?
