When use MDM and push a profile, the scanning app will disappear, as it is disabled/limited by the MDM, so you need to use its package name to add it back.
At present, we have removed the initial scanning app Keyboardemulator but replaced it with InfoWedge, before enroll your device, please check which app is in your PDA.
The package name of InfoWedge: com.rscja.infowedge
The package name of Keyboardemulator: com.rscja.scanner
For some customer need to add Appcenter, its package name is com.rscja.ht
Note: These apps cannot be added via the APP Store, please add them via Android Enterprise system apps, you can follow the official instructions:
https://learn.microsoft.com/zh-cn/mem/intune/apps/apps-ae-system
Besides, here is link about PDA enrollment and InfoWedge assignment in Intune for your reference:

Generally most MDM share the same method of device enrollment and app assignment, so you can refer to above contents, if you have questions, please contact Munbyn Support Team.

Hello, I am having difficulties using the Tera P172 scanner. The device is registered in Microsoft intunes (MDM Kioskmode) and I have tried to install the apps Keyboardemulator and Appcenter as described in this guide. Unfortunately, I always get an error "The application was not found in the managed Play Store. (0xC7D24FBB)" Can you help me?
Hi Lukas,
I ran into a similar issue with a different model of scanner. What I ended up doing was to downloading the keyboard APK to the scanner via connecting to my desktop and then running the install on the scanner.
To install an APK on Android, follow these steps:
Alternatively, you can transfer the downloaded APK file to the root of your phone’s internal storage and then install it2.
Hi Lukas, Please download the apk file you need from the link below.

Hi Williams - unfortunately it is not intended to install an APK on the devices. The devices will work in kiosk mode and there will be no authorization for this. Is there no way via Microsoft Intune? Thanks for your help!
Hi Lukas,
I ran into the same issue and had to download the APK and transfer it to the device. Once on the device, find it and select install.
@Michael - I tried it and got it to work partially... but I don't want to have to do that with all devices... with our Zebra scanners everything works great with intune :(
I fully understand!
When you received the unit, did you do a factory reset which made the keyboard go away?
